CM4 Still Kickass

The very thing I recall playing CM4 back then was the blue gaming skin by Ter.

Pretty much reminds me of Barney. Yes you heard me. I know Barney is purple in color, but the CM4 skin texture just reminds me of the monster character.

Yes I’m pretty anal as you can see.

Anyway I installed CM4 and upgraded it to v5.0.5. There was no problem doing that.

CM4 loads fine on my XP computer without a glitch. It was a quick install and creating of game.

I’ll bet with a more powerful PC, it will be doubly fast. I’ve an old 1.8GHz computer with 1GB RAM by the way.

As for my game, I chose the English league and took control of Charlton. The team had Scott Parker, Matt Fish, Chris Powell and such.

Once again as with managing new teams, I did a major shake-up.

Big names weren’t spared such as Shaun Bartlett was let go for my own dream team. With the £2 million transfer budget, it isn’t enough to buy star players, but it will do.

I’ll just have to buy smart. My best purchase in my opinion was signing Croatian Milan Rapaic. He cost less than £500,000 and so far he’s performing well.

I need a proven striker to double up with my other forwards of Kevin Lisbie and Finnish Jonatan Johansson.

My first few friendlies game wasn’t that impressive. I didn’t lose nor did I win convincingly. There’s still so many tweaking to do with the team.

The tweaking worked out well as I had a good result in the Premiership beating Tottenham on away.

It was a soak-and-attack strategy I employed for the match. I knew Spurs will hit be hard and fast on the flanks, so I counter that with able fast bodied defenders and defensive formation of mine.

I ran out with a 0-1 win and another quality purchase Eddie Pope scored on his debut.

Overall I’m having a good CM4 outing, will update again once I’m done with the matches.
