Reading FC on-form in FM2007
Posted in Category: FM2007 | March 30th, 2009

This is the last of my soccer management games I’ll be installing. Yes I know I’m playing many different versions currently at this blog, but hey I love the challenge.
Each Championship Manager and Football Manager game versions are unique and I love how the game progresses at each edition.
I’ve yet to purchase FM2009 and CM2009. I’ll leave it for a few more months before purchasing it. I’m content playing be it FM2007 or the older games.
As for this FM2007 game of mine, I took once again an underdog team of Reading F.C.
I was laughing my head off at the £1 million transfer kitty they’ve given me. I really need to be careful with that I spend on, as I still have to be concerned of the wages in the coming months,
Well as usual I did the offloading of surplus players and bought key essential players for the various position which I find lacking in quality.
I was lucky to land American forward Landon Donovan. He looks solid and hopefully he will bail out my team out of the relegation battle.
My start of the game with a few friendlies has mixed results. Oh well that’s what off-season is for, tweaking your team.
The first Premiership game I had was rather ok, despite losing, my team did alright stats wise. It’s just that I need to convert my chances.
That’s where my major problem lies now. Hmm maybe another striker of a poacher would help.
The search has started.
